A detailed plan of the territory bounded by Kirova St., Vosstaniia Sq., Lebedinskaya St. and Smolnaia St. in Kharkiv.

Project mission: сomplete reconstruction of the area adjacent to the “Metalist” stadium, including complex of urban development, transport, engineering and technical measures to ensure appropriate conditions of the finals of the European Football Championship Euro – 2012 in Kharkiv.
Proposals for master plan planning structure of the city (optional):
1. Additions to master plan solutions:
– “punching”of highways Derzhavina st. – Hramova St. to Vosstaniia Sq. and Matyushenko St., to bring traffic from Gagarina Ave. to Belgorodske highway bypassing the city center;
– “punching” of Kirova St. in the specified direction through traffic circle on the Vosstaniia Sq.
2. Increase the capacity of highways by executing the following tasks:
– reconstruction of Kirova St. with the extension number of traffic lanes to 3 in each direction, with the construction of an underground tunnel at intersection with the Plekhanivska St.;
– reconstruction of Plekhanovskaya St. from Moskovskyi Ave. to Kirova St. with extension number of traffic lanes to 3 in each direction and reconstruction of the tram line (two options).
3. Increasing the speed of traffic by executing interchanges at different levels on the following intersections:
– Moskovskyi ave. with “punching” of str. Derzhavinskaia St. and Kirova St. at Vosstaniia Sq. in 2 levels;
– Gagarina Ave. / Kirova St. in 2 levels;
– Plekhanovskaia St./ Polevaia St. in 2 levels.
4. Creation of three areas for open parking:
– along the Vlasovskyi lane, Plekhanovskaya St., “punching” Derzhavinskaia St.
5. Construction of 4 parking for 6600 cars.
6. Determination of the three zones for the development of urban residential areas.
7. Definition of 5 sites for hotel complexes with entertainment, retail and service establishments, and 7 sites for business, entertainment and shopping centers.
